Polebrook Airfield is a former World War II airfield located 3.5 miles east-south-east of Oundle, at Polebrook, Northamptonshire. The airfield was built on Rothschild estate land starting in August 1940. It was from here that the United States Army Air Forces Eighth Air Force carried out its first heavy bomb group (B-17) combat mission on August 17, 1942, and from which Major Clark Gable flew combat missions in 1943.
Having been rebuilt in the 1980s Airfield Warehousing has over 110,000sq ft of purpose-built dry, secure warehousing space together with large areas for outside storage. We are able to offer long & short term storage contracts for both palletised and containerised goods using our administration and stock control facilities, as well as being able to arrange the transport and distribution of your goods for you.
